A local high end car dealer was telling me about one of his customers down around Midland/Odessa who had his FGT TT'd but didn't like the lag so he had them build one with a TT and a S/C on it. I just assumed it was Don or Ray, or someone else with copious amounts of cash with an addiction to speed.

That picture looks like it was taken at a Captree or similar event. That may be "crazy" Dave but I am not sure. Maybe another Long Islander can chime in.

That is Dave's car. Heard he still got beat by Eddie's JBE TT GTS.

Yup. Eddie's car is a beast! First TT Viper that I have ever seen in action in person.
