Just out of curiosity, their was a post on the standing mile earlier where a Supra broke the record. Something like 228 mph or something. Why are the TT Vipers having trouble trapping beyond that? Is it the mile is too short for them to get up to top speed, and weight becomes more of an issue.
Sorry, I only had my Viper up to 130mph for a short stint so I have no clue what it is like above that speed. Just thought that the V10 would have an easier time climbing in the upper end than a Supra's engine. Then again it might be too short for the big engines to keep pulling.

Go and read the article and it explains it...
Gary's viper had brake problems and we did not think it would stop in the distance we had... He hit 212 rolling into it from past the 1/4 mile marker... so 212 in 3/4 mile..... and pulling hard.
SVS had transmission problems... shakedown pass of 223.5 was not too shabby

Some badass cars there this year and that Supra was no exception. Congrats on your mph.
