how much is the GTTT setup from heffner? Great numbers, good god!
jk, I just saw the website! $35k for a turbo system is crazy!!!! Stock motor, fuel system, etc. So for $35k you get a turbo system and an sct chip and tuning? Wowzers
that seems like the ultimate streetcar though! Nice profit margin for heff too!!!! awesome results for sure

You need to give Heff a little more credit. 1 - he's got the balls to do it. 2 - He has to front all the R&D costs. Someone has to pay for that.
You think a FGT is just like a mustang? Or a viper? Oh wait... you don't have a viper, so you wouldn't know.

Just like with anything in life, you get what you pay for. I just bought a new place, and I paid a little more per square foot because the builder is very well known and reputable. I know that my house is very well built and if a problem ever comes up, I am absolutely positive that it will be taken care of quickly and professionally. Oh yeah, and when I go to sell the house, it will command a premium price because of the builder's reputation.

35k for a TT kit for a car that costs this much is NOTHING. People pay that much for Lingenfelter C6 TT's that make nowhere near the power.
And it doesn't matter what the cost of the equipment is. Besides the cost of the R&D, custom fabbing all the piping, etc, Heffner absorbs the RISK of something going wrong and having to absolutely make sure that it doesn't. A turbo kit for some Mustang isn't going to cost much because if it goes wrong you can dig around in your couch and use what you find to buy another. Not so with a GT.

it doesnt matter what car it goes on really. R&D is the same really. As far as the GT being like a mustang... its awefully similar to the gt500
I know there are R&D costs but parts are no more than any turbo system for any car
JID, I dont have a viper, I dont have a mustang either! lol
