The last GT rolled off the line on Sept. 21st

No more will be built, they averaged 9 cars per day with 60 workers and built 4038 GTs , 3656 for the USA, 277 for Canada,(with slightly different bumpers) and 105 for Europe. The last 40 cars were red and went to Canada. These will no doubt be climbing up in price during the years to follow. I want one.............

BTW when we were there in August they said the last six were to be black and were promised to Carroll Shelby.

I mean, here you go, here's six of the exact same car. Now go put "owned by Carroll Shelby" on 5 of them, multiply the MSRP by 4.3, and make another smooth 2.5 million off your name.

Sorry! I'm just repeating what our tour guide said at Wixom when I was there. Can't remember the guys name but he was supposedly up there. I think he signed my book, I'll look it up sometime when I'm not watching Kings/Mavs preseason.

Polito Ford in Lindsay Ontario Canada got thre last two GT"s made. The last one will be at Barret Jackson in January 2007.
