Thanks to DBK for putting this Ford GT Rally all together first of all. Met Alley members Biggest, Cudaman, and Fuelman for the first time in person. Had a hell of a good time and there are 3 more days of this left. No one was injured which is always a good thing. Got a few pics, I'll try to post up tomorrow, or maybe Biggs can post his from his hotel room. You'll probably never see this many Ford GT's in one place at one time (about 75 of them). We were keeping up with the Alley posts from our internet ready cell phones. Too bad you other Viper to Ford GT converts didn't make it. Tomorrow we visit the Saleen Special Vehicles plant.

Good to meet you. The reception was pretty cool because it was almost like a homecoming for me. I saw many people that I've met over the past 6 months transporting a lot of GTs (and a lot of other cars).
And you're right, thanks to DBK for getting this thing organized. There are a ton of GTs there which is a pretty cool sight!
No problem guys. Thanks for coming. I'd say more but the thing is, I'm fucking drunk ( I can say that on this site!) and I have to lead 80 GT's 30 miles in about 5 hours. Ugh.
A ton of owners showed, and this whole week looks like it'll be a huge blast.
DBK sorry i didn't get to meet you MCMM nice to finally meet you. Nice to see so many of the cars in one place. I hope to see you on Satuday. Gotta go im off to Waterford Hills road course for the day. I'll try to get some of my pics to someone or post later

Nice to meet you too Gary. We are eating lunch at saleen. Have cudaman, Biggest, Fuelman with me and Nero from Titan Motorsports who brought a twin turbo GT. Steve Saleen is here too. They are giving rides in the 700 hp tt Saleen S7. Fun.
actually nero may have brought both , but i've only seen the one. on a side note, the ride in the saleen s7 was an absolute blast though. the Alley is representing!!
MCMM is one of the most gracious hosts/tour guides known to man! If anyone wants to visit the Detroit area you've gotta let him know (clones excepted). DBK and GT Joey from the GT Forums have really outdone themselves! Remember to attend all this they asked for a $100 donation, not required but I think everyone pitched in that much if not more (I did).
Having a blast with Cudaman and Fuelman, not to mention many others. I've been at some Zone rendezvous and although they were great, this kicks ass (although we could use some track time, still working on that).
Spent all day at the Saleen plant where much of the GT is made. Clean and impressive plant, with a surprising number of attractive females working on the cars! Really great people! Unbelievable spread for lunch, then cocktails, Shrimp, Sushi, pot stickers, meatballs, and all kinds of other heavy munchies. Premium booze including Sapphire, Crown, Meyers, Corona, top shelf wines, all you can consume, sponsored by Saleen! (I think they got a few orders for S7's to make up for it, or maybe it was because a current owner was with us).
My Alley friends are for life, but let me tell you this is a hell of a party so far, and it's only the first day! Can't wait for the next round! Got about 100 pictures so far, I'll work on posting some later

This has been a hell of a couple of days. I mean that in a good way. We saw and did so much in the past 4 days. This is only the 2nd time I've actually met some of the Viper Alley members in person and this was another great group of guys. Biggest, Cudaman, Fuelman, and GaryA are a great bunch of guys to hang out with. We had a lot of fun. It seems like there are a lot of Viper guys who now own Ford GT's as well. I met Wayne "Lethal Viper" at the 4 day rally too. I also met a few other Viper owners who may not have been a member of the Alley or Morgue, but own or owned Vipers as well.
I just wish I was fast enough with the camera to snap a picture of Biggs pulling a "Big Carrot". This Ford employee was gracious enough to open the door of the GR-1 concept car Friday night. Gorgeous car by the way. We snapped a bunch of pictures of the interior. Then Biggs tried to sit in it and the guy who opened the car for us had to man handle Biggs and pull him out of the car. Too funny. The guy said we are not allowed to sit in the car and we should be happy he opened the door just so we could look inside. I thought a brawl was about to ensue.
We learned today how Biggest got his nickname. Hopefully he'll post pictures later today.
Is there is truth to the rumor that Biggest has a specialtly vechicle with custom wheels on it?
Cudaman
Sitting in the Detroit airport, after a rough time with security reguarding something about that I was packing some "heat"......although I told them it was the "big" Texan that left early, known as "Biggest" is who they should be looking for.

Still waiting for Biggs to post the pictures of his "custom vehicle".
