Official PMUM at Speed World Challenge Laguna Seca Thread

Chuck, I don't know if Paul will do that race or not. If he does, I may go check it out.

Word from Paul is that he ran 35's at Laguna yesterday and the track is F'ed up. He thinks it'll take 32's or lower to win, so they'll be testing mother's all through today.

Practice starts in about an hour and you can follow it live on the web using the second link in the first post.

It would seem that after this practice run, PMUM is 3rd, Farmer is 12th.

I may have to eat some hay over this one... Farmer is selling his c5 vette and has a pre-order for a c6. So I am thinking his heart and sole isn't into the c5 anymore.... You guys may win this one...If so, there is alway Lemans series. :bonk:

Whatever. PMUM is just faster than Farmer and always has been. Has nothing to do with Farmer's motivation and I don't buy that anyways considering he's a privateer and is losing a bunch of jack every weekend to go out there to play.

VIVA LA PMUM!!! That fucking Porsche GT3 is going to be a problem, though. That's a Porsche track if there ever was one.

Sorry guys, I rarely Watch racing... My wife knows more about the names, teams and stuff than I..

I'm usually out there racing. I figured this was a big enough race to attract the factory sponsered teams. Don't the actual factory sponsered teams like ALWAYS whip the factory sponsered vipers? And all the other ones?

World Challenge is as close as it gets to cars you and I can buy and campaign...and Vettes get worked. We've seen every form of Vette come through OTC and they usually leave with new Viper friends and 1/2 the ego they walked in with.

I'll give you the Make-a-Wish discount if you come to OTC and want to see even what stock Vipers do to the top Vettes. Or you could just ask John Ames.
