It was about a foot taller than me and I'm 6-2, so I guess it's an easy 7ft.

Mean is right ! You could take that MONSTER and just plow stright through an entire neighborhood,one house after another non-stop.Damn that would be fun,right over the tops of old used cars and motorhomes-- CRUNCH TIME !!!

CAT rawks!!!

My uncle works for CAT and has gotten to drive some of the biggest machines ever made. After I get my M.E. degree, CAT is seriously a company I will be looking into. I would love to be on a team of engineers whose job is to build something that could scare God.

It pretty well kicks ass - 580 hp (all day long) V12, it weighs about the same as an M1 tank (70 tons) but it's not nearly as fast. Top speed is around 5 mph, but this thing isn't about speed, it's all about putting power to (or into) the ground. The dozer blade IS huge! You could park a full-size Suburban sideways in front of it and the blade would be visible all around it. It is a truly serious piece of engineering.
