The French are so hypocritically full of anti-imperialist advice to the U.S. when in fact it's you clowns who are the last true colonialist rapists of the third world. Look at your meddling in Algeria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, etc. You aren't there for humanitarian reasons ... you've installed puppet governments in those countries so that you can skim off their precious metals, diamonds etc. I have a good buddy from Cameroon and you can't believe how much he hates the French for what they have done (and are still doing) to his country. Nothing goes on in that country without the French giving the nod (witness that last security council vote where the French put the squeeze on their African proxies) ... only problem is that y'all give nothing back to those people. You just siphon and plunder without building any infrastructure. Dude tells me that people there like America because our companies and aid organizations actually build things like roads and bridges that last. The French on the other hand simply skim the best of the resources, prop a corrupt power structure and build shoddy crap that falls down. At least that's what African buddy and his family say ... sounds plausibly French to me.
So let's don't get too self-pitying about poor pacifist little France who has to go hat in hand to the world to survive. France is in fact an avaricious oppressive old-time colonialist power out for number one.
