That's a good point and that's why I don't understand some people hanging on every word he says.
I don't know Paolo and he may be the brightest person on this board. If he is, good for him.

But he doesn't have a track record of building reliable cars and yet he is thought of as the greatest tuner alive by some members here.
Don't get me wrong, I applaud him for attempting the things he is doing and all the other tuners would not be where they are today without that starting point. I just think it's a bit premature for some people to say that his system is significantly better thought out than anyone else when there are several anyone else's out there with running, successful, high horsepower cars that can be driven daily.

That is why Paolo got most of the grief thrown his way when he had problems with his car, because he had elevated himself to such a lofty status before the thing was even running. Confidence is a good thing but it can bite you in the ass when it crosses the line to blind arrogance.

Now I would imagine that behind the scenes he is a little less than pleased with Pitt trying to bump him back up to an almost unachievable status.

Let's get a few cars running and on the road before we go stroking his...ugh...ego, Chief.

I think the matter here is that Paolo is the only person that owns a Viper that will give pitt virgin for life racer the time of day. I guess he figures if he suckles on his balls long enough he may get a ride in the thing.

That's what I thought. But wasn't that Jason's fault it detonated on the dyno

I think I'll sit back and wait till that TT system is rolling in some 1/4 mile times before I have a wet dream like some others.
