Re: RockStar Productions presents: \"The last days of Radio\"
Red, I think we'll leave the casting to the pros i.e. Tenney. And, according to all that I value in my friendship with Tenney, he will get Chris Rock to play the part of me.

While you were thinking, I was wondering why you're doing the casting here. It's Greg's script based on the E-True Life stalker of Nate and myself. I'm not really sure where you fit in...if at all...here other than your own uninvited interjection.

Red you have helped me in the past and I give you full and appreciative credit for that but you are doing a bit of level jumping on this one. Chuck Norris Is pretty alpha for your role in the Gthomas affair so far. I know you have been involved in an ancillary behind the scenes capacity on this one so their is no doubt you should get a part. I am thinking Tom Arnold along the lines of his role in True Lies.

carry on Canadian.
Long, Redundant, Cumbersome is what lawyers live for, you would think that they were paid by the word and not the hour.
They as a whole, seems to enjoy head swellingness and like saying words founded in rhetorical BULLSHIT. Have a Nice Day Lawboy. Your Pal Royal.

Yes I really suck sometimes.
And its the little things now that bring a smile to my face.
Redbeard, no foul dude. I appreciate the suggestions, and the offer of help back on the "Hilarious House of Horrors" project.
Casting call is almost completed. I've delayed shooting the film until we see the outcome of "the people vs Gthomas". Although a guilty verdict will do nothing but boost the pre-release value of this film, I have no problem going IFC on this one as long as GT gets to stick around here. His suspension was warranted, but a banning would be overkill in my books. He represents as much of a real life threat to anyone as Jay and Silent Bob on the set of the Bluntman and Chronic Movie.
Radio: Steve Buscemi (see Con Air). Contract negotiations are failing though. It seems since he's been on the Sopranos he thinks his stock has gone up. I keep reminding him about Mr. Deeds. In the event that I can't land Buscemi, I've already talked to Michael Douglas (see Falling Down)
Smackie: Gregory 'Mars' Martin (see Poolhall Junkies. The resemblence is uncanny)
Nohsreg: Bill Murray (see Caddyshack)
Rock Star: Mark Wahlberg (see Rock Star minus the abs )
Serious Eric: Billy Bob Thorton (see The Alamo)
Weeztones: Ben Affleck (just to boost ticket sales, and also to piss off Smackie)
MRob: Helen Hunt (see Twister)
There are still cameo rolls to fill. Biggs has already expressed an interest in playing himself.

Greg, you are an excellent writer. Excellent, excellent, excellent.
And Biggs, if you have to keep telling people the same thing over and over, maybe, just maybe, you know it's not true. "M is the new k, M is the new K."
Re: RockStar Productions presents: \"The last days of Radio\"
Re: RockStar Productions presents: \"The last days of Radio\"
OK, since this movie seems to have caused as much controversy around here as "The Passion of the Christ", I've decided to lay it to rest.
I'm now working on a new project featuring Vince Vaughn as Smackie, and Jon Favreau as Nohsreg. The film will feature two bosom buddies travelling to a weekend gun show a la "Best in Show". John Candy will play the role of Txlen, and will provide tons of laughs with his obsession with high powered assault rifles.
Viperess will still be played by Charlize Theron, and is expected to have a torrid love affair with a character named Zed behind the cubicle walls of the Desert Eagle display. In true Quenton Tarantino fashion, I will cast myself for the part of Zed.
This one has MONEY written all over it.

Just another attempt by a damn law-ier to confuse things. M is 1,000.
...and I own the rights to it so just shut up, use it, and send me my royalty...

Re: RockStar Productions presents: \"The last days of Radio\"
I can deal with Vince Vaughn. Mix in the character direction as:
1/3rd Trent from "Swingers"
1/3rd Beanie from "Old School"
1/3rd Ricky from "MADE"
One of the greatest actors out there, IMO, and a damn nice guy in person. The "Beanie" character from "Old School" was basically Paul Mumford incarnate.
WAR I'M WORTH AT LEAST 3 MILLION DOLLARS THAT THE IRS KNOWS ABOUT!!!

Re: RockStar Productions presents: \"The last days of Radio\"
Never saw the flick, but I can see where you're going with that. Considering just about everyone I hang with talks like a Vaughn/Favreau production, I'd opt for that.
