I call bullshit on people, it is what I do. Some of the funnier threads on the Alley have been because I called Bullshit on someone.
The other night Gadgetmann claimed he was an Army Ranger. Smackie, being in the know on things Ranger, asked but one real question, and it was the appropriate question to ask when some one says "I am a Ranger"(It is THE question)

Nohsreg(short version)and not knowing if his follow up story was true, I googled away....and nothing...It was 3 in the morning so I could not place a call to my Ranger buddies...So thinking I might have fucked up, I kept my word " Yes I served and I am sorry, I stand corrected"
I felt so bad that
1: Me always calling people out had finaly backfired, and I now had to eat shit.
2: I had called bullshit on a hero.
3: I ate shit in public and sent gadgetman my service credentials in PM's with an apology.
The next day curious about the Special "Ranger School" that Gadgetman went to, I got on the horn with the Rangers. (As did some others) I was told HAHAHAHAHA, this guy is a sack of shit. So did the others that checked in with their Ranger buddies.
Gadgetman is the worst kind of loathsome man. To pretend to be a proud warrior, is a disgrace to the hero's that wear the Tab. Our country is built on the backs of men that serve in our armed forces, and the Rangers feed the bear more and pull a heavier ruck than anyone else. To pretend to be one is an affront to the men who have earned the right to wear the Tab.
I would Like to Welcome some of the Alleys Newest members the heros of The United States Army Rangers. They are here to set both the record and Gadgetman strait. Mr. Gadgetman chose not to Unfuck himself, So The boys from Benning are here to form a Ranger circle and facilitate the process of Unfucking. I hope the Rangers will stay and enjoy the Alley for all of it's other features as well.

I came over from SOCNET because Smackie was gracious enough to point it out to the Real Deal Rangers. I am not a Ranger. I have never been in the military. It is just a pleasure to watch the tenacity of the SOCNET board when they smell a poser.
There are better things to do with my time, sure. But it is gratifying to see asshats run off because they live a lie. People die in the military and they take posers seriously. He didn't pose as a football player or Nascar car driver.
He posed as a Ranger, one of the most elite soldiers in the military. It doesn't matter though. I see that he is here and reading. I notice he isn't posting.
A Ranger would come out straight away and make damn well sure the rest of the Rangers could ask him anything and be verified.
All he has to do is come clean.

I don't understand people. Here was a guy (I assume he was in the Army) who felt the need to go further and say he was a Ranger when he was not? Why does he feel like less of a soldier? We all have our jobs in the service. It is sad that he could not be proud of the fact that he was a soldier to begin with. I guess it wasn't bad a$$ enough?
Sure it would have been cool if I would have gone into Recon or Force Recon but the reality is I wasn't cut out for it. It takes a certain mentality and either you have it or you don't. I would never hint or say that I was Recon. Why? I am proud enough to have earned the title of Marine.
Gadgetman you need to look inside and resolve certain issues. I am proud of you enough for choosing to serve. The Rangers have a special title that is earned and it is sad that you would give yourself a title that you did not earn. You discredit yourself and the Army Rangers.

p.s. I assume Ranger school is longer than 2 weeks and Gadgetman if you had a two week course taught by Rangers do you really think that you are a Ranger?

I'll just put something up on here for all public knowledge I'll put up another thread later but quickly. Gadgetman you are a beyach. You know nothig of MY brothers in the 75th. You are a phony coward. Way to beat your chest faggot. I used to love being a team leader at 3rd Batt telling people I was a truck driver on Kelly Hill. I caught so many stupid privates, R.I.P.ies and Airborne students swearing they were Rangers it wasn't even funny. I would lose my shit over it because being a Ranger isn't about a label. In today's army you're not a Ranger if you have a Tab. You're a Ranger if you have a scroll or have had one at some point. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger. You have to want to be there. Not like other units. You have to volunteer to go to the Regiment and if you fuck up you're out. Gone. Even for something as stupid as a DUI. You have to earn the right to be there. It's no easy task either. I would put being a private in Ranger Bn up against any military selection. You disrespect our heritage and the honor bestowed upon us through our daring deeds. The shit we had to go through. You want to know why you got pounced on bitch? Because the bullshit brought us all together. Being in the nastiest shit imaginable makes men forge bonds of a life time. Any man who's ever carried the TRUE Ranger label is immediatley respected by me. Any man disrespecting that can hang at the knotted end of a rope for all I care. A tab is the patch you wear above your unit patch on your left arm (airborne tab, Ranger tab, Special Forces tab). A scroll is a unit identifier. Every uunit in the army has their own patch. The unit patch for the 75th Ranger Regiment is a scroll. It is also for the 1st 2nd and third Ranger Battallions which all fall under the 75th Ranger Regiment. You have to earn the scroll. It's easier to get than to keep though
