I gave my ticket to my cousin.He took my kids . Bigger fan then me adn I just felt bad.Gave him the thrill of his life.I just got off cell with them.Man, he said there are fights going on with MARLIN FANS.I TOLD HIM TO GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE..

I am watching fox news with reporters interviewing YANKEE fans. All of a sudden the camera goes to two Marlin fans on the bleacher section being interviewed. This guy comes up and sounds something like this, Well howdy yoll. They Marlins beat ya all in yo homee town. I didn't know they had trailer parks outside in the Bronx. :bonk:

This is still FAR far better than those years of the Mattingly era. As a die hard Yankee fan, we simply didn't deserve to win (this year [img]/images/graemlins/supergrin.gif[/img] ). Congrats to any of you REAL Marlin Fans out the in VA land. This was definitively your year!!! Unfortuantely, VA Marlin fans WOULD APPEAR to be a lot like Mattl advocates. They receive life more from their hatred of the Yanks rather than their love of the Marlins. Sorry or the hijack. (I'm still upset about our recent VA endeavors).

CitySnake, I'm not sure if you were referring to me as one of the Marlin fans that were just Yankee haters but I hope not. As with all World Series, (especially since my Astros have never made it there), for me to get interested enough to watch it, I have to come up with reasons why I like one team or the other. Be it the 'underdog' factor or possibly players on teams that I like or whatever. It has always made it more interesting for me to pick a team I like and root for them.

Being an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, I understand team haters. What's worse is when that team sucks and you still have to put up with it.

I honestly thought that the Yankees would kick some Marlin butt. (especially last night with Petit pitching) At least the Yankees got there this year. My team is known as the Kings of Playoff Chokers.
