Yes, and yesterday he turned over his defense to his attornies saying he felt they could do a better job (this after telling the judge he had thought long and hard for months and decided he wanted to represent himself.)

The whole thing is a circus. Its amazing the money being spent giving these two a "fair" trail - that all defendents should get such help in their defense. Its abd enough we have to pay for room and board for these two murderers, but now we have to foot a multimillion dollar prosecution/defense.

A defiant but determined John Muhammad took over his own defense Monday and challenged prosecutors to prove he was the mastermind of the spree of shootings that terrorized the Washington area a year ago, leaving 10 people dead.

What a douchebag, although I'm glad in the United States a fair trial is guarenteed. It's just like when Micheal Moore and other completely liberal, ungrateful assholes use a forum like the Academy Awards, etc to preach their agenda. I hate it but I have to respect their right to free speech.

The business of innocent until proven guilty, and due process, is a double-edge sword. However in this case, these two fucks were caught red handed and the above should never come into play. As mentioned before in another post, the money and time we are spending and essentially wasting on this "fair trial" is a joke. IMO these two wannabe Muslim faggots should be drug out in the middle of the street with every major news channel present and shot in the fucking head with the same gun they commited the murders with. Better yet, make it a pay-per view an recoup the money that is being blown on their trials.
