That was the last event for me for the season. I did not do too bad, as I am a beginner at it. This was my 3rd autocross and the best time of the day was a 51.xxx. I got a 59.xxx. Give me some time, I will improve. It just so happened the only video that was taken of me was where I wiped out. I think you are forgetting something, RED. its all about the FUN.

Many people make fun of parking lot racing, but the real racers will not. (not the ones beating everyone)
It can be tough. Very technical driving, (if you want it to be)
I suggest less thought and the use of bigger go nads. Don't worry about wiping out. I am not saying be stupid. But be more open to expressing yourself in an event that pushes both you and the car to the limits (Whichever comes first) You are on the right track by spinning out. :thumb: Do that a lot. But in tougher areas. While going faster. And keep in the gas while in a wipe out. You never know, you may actually save it and turn a faster time by having had kept your foot in it.

Actually, perhaps next season red5.. our scca track is buttoned up till next Feb.. I think if our courses had as much room as those that you run in, i'd end up killing myself. I'm gonna have to sign up to chair a race or two.. damn honda owning bastards make the course so tight you have a hard time getting a gocart through em.

I used to get upset by a tighter course, but now I just deal with it. When you are as good at driving as I am you can win on most any surface. [img]/images/graemlins/gr_driving3.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/applause.gif[/img]
But I have my fair share of little pain-in-the-ass cars. Specifically one fucking miata. This miata can turn a faster time at the freaking drag strip than my vette on a 75 shot of juice (Freak car).
It has everything imaginable and always has good rubber. We trade off FTDs all the time. By next season I will kill him on a reg basis or die trying. It is humiliating to have to tell the uneducated that I got beat by a miata. But for me to beat him on a tight track when his car is faster, lighter and equiped with better tires and alignment tells me that I am flat out out driving the guy. So I will bring my equipment up to speed and be done with him shortly. [img]/images/graemlins/ar15firing.gif[/img]
