I've had the BEST service from performance shops in Texas...however I dont own a Viper so that may tell you something!
David sent me a set of throttle body gaskets overnight FREE OF CHARGE! I was hopeing to cruise this weekend since it will be nice(er) for a change, and he helped me out!
im kidding, good service from a TX guy?? whats going on here??

Dave Weaver is the Anti-Tuna! He is the only one besides me who touches my car. A little known prize here in Austin that we try to keep hushed up.
Dude is the chief Viper-tech (one of five) and shop foreman at Maxwell. Not only does he do great service, but he's a kick-ass hotrodder. Kind of a satellite shop for TNT if you will. Want motor mods made to your Viper under factory warranty? Sure ... no problem, he does it himself at the dealership using TNT parts. I've seen a number of his cars dyno up around 600 rwhp NA. Couldn't be more honest too. I know, I know, this is Texas, how could that be true? Only it is.
Not knowing anything besides the internet rumours about texas tuners -it's good to hear stories like this. David if i can send some business your way -let me know!

p.s. the babes of new england are seriously harder to get to than the ones in california -my perspective after one night out on town....
I'll be at Huffine's @ 7:30am Monday for the 999 recall and a gear swap to 3:55 (Thanks samehereasthere!) Hopefully I'll have 'er back before tipoff...
No, but since I'm going to be there next week I thought I'd use someone that sees hundreds of Vipers instead of a dozen. He's done over 30 of the 999 recalls and my guy here has done 3. Nuff said?
Dale Brewer, the Viper tech at Big Country Dodge near Abilene is great too. I'd be fooked w/o him. He did my 999 recall about 6 weeks ago and man, it looks great. Also had it in there yesterday. He replaced the console in my ACR because the molded frame had cracked. It looked fine outwardly but it had a bit of a droop in it where I lay my arm. He caught it w/o me even saying anything.
Gotta love these Viper techs that care for our cars like it was their own!
Biggs,
3.55 gears? Cool! When you get it done, I wanna detailed report on how you like it. That's actually a pretty steep gear for the Viper. Btw, when you are driving through Abilene on I-20, be sure and look at our new drag strip goin in on the west side. It's on the north side of the interstate. Concrete track that is one continuous pour. Pretty neat!
