Buick…A dying marquee.

Who the hell buys a Buick? I hate the Harley Earl BS ghost spirit commercials, what a lame ass attempt to sell the sheep a car. I wonder how long the General will produce this re-packaged line of automobiles that they already make under a different GM label.

Rant over.

I agree..most of what the USA is building today is crap.

Toyota will rule the land within a few years. They already sell enough cars in the USA to be considered in of the "big three" and their quality is second to none.

We can all thank the unions for this.

Re: Buick…A dying marquee.

I had a rental Buick Rondevous(sp?) suv thing when I got here into VA. Is was the only suv they had so I got it. I think I made it about two blocks down the road and turned around. What a POS!

Went back the next day and they had me the David Hassellhof Edition Yellow Exterra! That think is a gas hog!

Re: Buick…A dying marquee.

Grandparents drive Buicks.

I just returned an 03 Buick Century loaner I had this week because they had to REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION in my Suburban after only 70K miles.

The Century suspension sucked. Kept wanting to go straight in the turns.
Front tire squeal the whole time I drove it. Throttle and shift points had annoying dead spots. POS.

Re: Buick…A dying marquee.

I had a '67 Riviera in college and an '87 Grand National. Both were great cars for their times-

Buick just can't get out of such a long rut- gone forever are the days of glory
