Re: I\'d drive it :)
The orange lambo replica was built by a company about 30 miles from me. He currently has 9 cars being built in his shop. I'm actually going out there tomorrow to discuss other glass/carbon parts with him...

Re: I\'d drive it :)
The orange diablo is a tube chassis w/ koni coil overs and a smallblock chevy (420hp). The silver car is a V12 BMW tube chassis car also.

Re: I\'d drive it :)
The orange one has tube chassis and a logitudinal small block w/ a porsche transaxle (430rwhp IIRC. Car weighs in at 2400lbs). It also sports a very nice suspension angle since it was all designed from scratch, koni's and coilovers.
He also did a BMW V12 (350hp IIRC) install in the silver car (not pictured). He is going to be putting a viper V10 w/ audi race transaxle, if he can make it fit (may not fit).

Yeah they do, but it's kinda in transition over to my handy work The owner is a great guy, but he doesn't know much about the web work... so I'm doing some of it for him.

Nice looking cars.
What are the prices?
The lambo looks like it is built better then the original.(safer)

Re: I\'d drive it :)
Belive it or not, he sells that exact chasis fully painted and w/ suspension (either single or duel coil overs in the rear, your choice) for under 7K!

Re: I\'d drive it :)
What do the finished cars cost??
I would do the GT40 over the Lambo. I really don't like kits of the new exotics. The GT40 kit would be similar to a Cobra kit and probably maintain its value.

Re: I\'d drive it :)
I love the sound of the 180 degree headers like the GT40 has.
If only 180 degree headers could be put on a Viper it would sound awesome.

Re: I\'d drive it :)
Figure a finished GT40 will run you in the 80K range, however there are some new makers comming out these days and many of them have rolling chassis packages in the low 40s

Those replicas are sweet! I especially like the GT40. Are the body's made of fiberglass?

Re: I\'d drive it :)
One kit is made from aluminum, while the other 2 (IIRC) are a combo if fiberglass and cabon/kevlar.
Depending on how much you want to spend denotes the body material
