We have a couple right now, but might need some more for when the small list we have isnt around. Is there anyone that would like to volunteer or has any comments or objections? This shouldnt be too difficult of a job since we arent really moderating a whole lot. Just obvious stupid shit and even some of that can stay for kicks. Most everything has to be voted on first anyways.
Serious Eric has been made a moderator too. We will need a couple more. We have some volunteers who have posted above. Anyone else please chime in. If anyone feels that any inappropriate choices have been made, please start a poll for moderator removal or policy change. I think (personal opinion here) that people who are online A LOT would be preferable so that we can get the most coverage. This isnt a task where a lot of moderation will be necessary with the way polling and voting is required for most moderation.
I'll volonteer for the duty as well. No trips planned in the next 6 months wich means i have plenty of time to be online [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I for one am in FAVOR of having PAR as a moderator.He seems to be level headed,and has offered to help.If you(YES YOU !) have any questions,comments,or complaints regarding this matter,then NOW is the time to speak up.This is not my board,it is OUR BOARD.Thats the deal here,your opinion counts as much as the next guy's.

I'll second that. Par is okay and does seem level headed. Smokin tells me he's alright too, so it must be true.
Par and Max will be great. I would also like to nominate CAP and CitySnake (although they don't know it yet). Right and left coasters of impeccable character. Both very even tempered, smart guys that I think would make excellent mods.
It doesn't really matter whether they want to do it or not. Guys like them can never turn down responsibility and duty. Just jam a wand in their hands and run like hell ... they'll do it.
I agree with Eric here. I think Maxx (helped in the creation of this board), City, and CAP would be great additions. Since Maxx has volunteered, hes in. Again if anyone objects to any of this SPEAK UP!. Now CitySnake, and CAP, would you be willing to help fill these positions?

I'd do it, but, 1) 99% of the time I tend to find even the most stupid posts entertaining on some level, 2) I would find it ever so hard to delete/moderate a post with a pic of a pretty, naked female in it, 3) I don't even know what the expectations of the job are, 4) Most of the time I view the forum here at work. I'm sure they wouldn't want me taking on another job on their time.

So what im hearing is that you promise to be a complete slacker at it. Same for all of us. So you'll fit right in. The cool part of it is that this is just giving a couple guys the ABILITY to implement the will of the members. We really cant delete anything here unless its blatently stupid. Say some asswipe signs on as "CAPcansuckmycock", that should be deleted. But deleting flaming etc requires the vote of members in a poll in the Forum Motions section. Banning, etc is the same. More or less to have some additional coverage to stop complete chaos from forming like it did in .com.
