Rush, like him or not, can say stupid shit just like the rest of us. So he says some controversial things just like he has before and now he is the target of a drug investigation? Wow, what a coincedence!
Ashcroft is half the problem these days. Him and his damned witch hunts. Stinks of the McCarthyism era like nothing else. Its amazing how people dont learn from history. Neo-Conservatism at its finest...or worst depending how you look at it.
Ashcroft needs to be given the boot - he has done more to errode our rights as American Citizens than anyone in history. Not to mention his radical views on law enforcement which take the ability for judges and prosecutors to have any flexibility in their jobs.
Of course we can all look forward to the next AG's tour to try and explain himself to the public......

It must be something to do with the moon. Our top radio talk back host called the UN leader a "cheeky darky" over his demands on the US - and that comment has caused major ripples from little ol NZ to the UN HQ and beyond.
He apologised but petitions started up to get rid of him.
The radio said firing him was not an option.
So we have a similar situation going on here right now.

Do you have a link?
The story was broke by the National Enquirer of all sources. They claim he bought addictive pain killers from a black market drug ring. The New York Post picked up the story after the Enquirer ran it. Rush is denying it. O'Reilly defended him on the O'Reilly report regarding the racism claims, but Star Jones called him a snake! Ooooooh, I bet that one will be cause for some lack of sleep!
Rush has the largest syndicated radio audience in the United States...and this just kills the lilly Liberals...
What does it mean if the majority of the radio listening audience in the US is tuning into your show on a daily basis??? (Spin that you liberal pussies!)

Can you give some examples?
Youve got to be shitting me.... Suspending Miranda for suspects of terrorism? Suspending due process? People argue that its necessary in the fight for terrorism, I say BULLSHIT. Setting precedent by "suspending" the basic principles grounded in our Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and great court rulings that have defined the freedoms we enjoy each day is just plain STUPID. This is neo-conservatism at its extreme. Basically a "fuck the constition" approach to big-brother type of big government with a conservative flair for patriotism. Kind of like schitzophrenic conservatism, or shitzo-libearls, depending on how you look at it. Fuckin bipolar idiots.

Can you give me one example of McCarthy being wrong in his accusations?
I quote Churchill, 'History shall look kindly on us, for we shall write it.'
We did not get involved in WW1 because of the Lusitania, England came over and said, 'We have no more money.'
We got in because our President didn't want Europe German speaking.
All McCarthy did wrong was in his approach. ALL his accusations were correct. It did, however, gain further information.
Alger Hiss, the top State Dept. official, was a communist spy, and protected by our Pres., also, what about the Verona Tapes, it named hundreds of commies in positions of power in the Govt., people who were making our policies.
