Wanted: NY/NJ Area Vipers to Join Domestic Brawl at ATCO

Any of you NY/NJ snake charmers interested in a day of dragging? I did my best to tempt City with the fruits of trouncing some Z06s, '03 Cobras and a few assorted others, but obligation precludes him. Are there any other NY/NJ area Viper guys I can persuade to join us? Here's how it lays out:

Date: October 27th.
Time: From 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Place: Atco, NJ
Event: Dragging Fights for Bragging Rights.
Cost: $133.00 if we have 15, $150.00 if we have 10.
Spots Remaining: 6

C'mon, guys (and girls), we only have one Viper showing up to this point. Come out and represent! Should be a fun day. And for you guys who like to tear up the 1320, it's a day of no waiting in staging lanes and getting in as many runs as you want. If you're interested, let me know in this thread or PM me. Hoping to line up against a few of you.

Yes, a few fellow Z06 owners are looking for some competition that could keep up with us but Enzos and SLRs are still tough to come by. Having said that, a few snakes at the track would be a welcome addition. We'll even give you a light on each race ;-) Seriously, this should be a fun day at a minimal cost. The track is prepped very well and, if you wish, you can run back-to-back. The field is open to 15 cars only. A tuner from NJ will be coming down with some of their cars (non-Z06/Viper) too so it'll be pretty cool. I don't get to see a Viper in a lane next to me very often (although I did see a few in my rear view mirror) so I hope you guys/gals will join us for some good all-American fun.

I wish I had run my 98 gt6s a few times already but im NOT about to embarrass myself with a bunch of z0's around and tuners too.....LOL

that would be my first time on a track in 15 years and NEVER in a viper

maybe next year.

If not running in 15 years and never runing your Viper is what's precluding you from joining us, please reconsider. There are going to be a handful of experienced/good drivers there. The rest are relative newbies or guys just like you who haven't raced in a long, long time. In fact, the experienced guys, including myself, are all too willing to give you whatever friendly advice you might want. These day long track outings are a great opportunity to practice without judgement and without having the pressure of bleachers full of people with all eyes on you. It's really a very relaxed and enjoyable day out. As for the tuner, don't even worry about them. I'm friends since high school with the co-owner of the shop; trust me, they're only reason for being there is to test and tune the latest beast they've built. They're not watching to see if you run an 11.14 or a 14.11. Come down with us, Plum. I promise, you'll have a great time!

Best to all you kids. I know that ATCO is one of the best prepped track in the country. Everyone that races there seems to get some fantastic times. I only wished that I lived closer than 800 miles. I had hoped that MikeZ06 and others from here were going to put something together for K.C., as a shootout, but I guess it never happened. Knock them dead Cliff/Dave.

im gonna try and get to englishtown on next wed the 8th and see how I feel out there. if I dont make a total fool of myself im gonna let ya know if I can make it.
