OK, so I decided to go to the Baby Joe Mesi fight in Buffalo at the last minute on Saturday night. I've bought scalper tix quite a few times, and never had a problem, until NOW!!! I tell the guy I need 3 seats on the lower level or the floor. He comes back, shows me 3 tix for section 117 (center ice 18 rows up, pretty good seats). So I ask him how much, he says he wants 300. I say ok, count him out 300, take the tix, hand him the money and BAM, he's gone. Needless to say I look down and the fucktard had switched 2 of the tix for nosebleed seats that weren't even next to each other. I WAS PISSED!! I started freaking on this other scalper calling them all thieves and criminals, and I tried to make this one guy buy all the tix back. That's when the posse arrived, and we decided to cut our losses and head inside (being a Canadian, Buffalo is not a good place to get in trouble). So to end the story, I took the only remaining good seat (Hey, I paid for em), and I send my buddies up into the nosebleeds. The fights were good, we met back at the bar after, and went out for a quick rip. All in all it was a good night, and a lesson learned.
WAR ILLEGAL TICKET SCALPERS WHO HAVE NO BUSINESS ETHICS
Believe it or not, I've had some really good luck with scalpers. Some of these guys make a good living, and usually have access to some good tickets. I remember in 91 when I saw Elton John at skydome in Toronto. Scalper sold me 2 seats in the 3rd row floor section. When I got inside, there was no rows 1 or 2, so I sat dead center, front row for the first ever concert at skydome. The boxing fiasco won't deter me from buying scalper tickets if I have to, but I will certainly be much more careful from now on.

I will never see a Tragically Hip concert EVER again! I saw them in Ottawa twice and they sucked! Road Apples = Excellent. Up to here = The best. Day for night = good, (but what the fuck are you guys doing? Get back to basics). Phantom Power = put down the crack pipe please. I don't even know the other albums, just tuned them out.
