Exterior goes to the SRT imo...F150 looks sweet in a sort of teutonic way...Dont know why it feel German to me...SRT just looks brutal. The front end just can.t be beat..You look at it and you are like.. Jezuz!..Its over the top...Very fitting since it has the soul of the Viper...
Round one is simply aesthetics...Based on looks alone I think the SRT wins by unanimous decision...Coulda been a knockout but that Lightning looks good imo...
On the SRT.. just a hood scoop and a different bumper? or am i missing more? I like the Viper wheels on it though much more.. As for interior, the Lightning is better looking if you ditched the yellow seats imho. Dodge one looks way too "Stock" and plasticy.
After seeing an SRT Ram in person, to look really good, it needs to be lowered 2-3 inches. Other than that, it isn't too bad. I like the Lightning a bit better looks wise myself, though you must remember that the SRT shown above is a production version. The Lightning is just the concept, and will probably be toned down a bit when it hits the showrooms.
Based on those pics, the lightning looks better, interior is no contest, lightning all the way. And the fact that its going to be supercharged is the nail in the coffin for the Dodge. Exhaust, pulley, and chip, and that thing will be running.

not likely SB, just take a look at the supercharged Cobra's. $1200 gets u as much h.p. as that motor will hold. That srt Ram will haul with N2O, but as we all know the chain of command are as follows; Turbo, SC , N2O
I did not think it was possible but Ford did it. The made an even uglier truck than before. What a shit box on wheels that thing is. Did Honda help them with the looks? It looks like ass...
I wonder how many engine problems they will have with this new one? Will it even make the rated HP or will it be another Cobra poser? How many HP was the Cpbra down a few years ago?
My shorts stint as a Ford tech left me bitter to the whole company. :fist:

HUH? Did you miss the fact that the SRT truck has a 500 hp 500 ci motor, NATURALLY ASPIRATED? Put a supercharger on THAT and see what it does! It's got plenty of room under the hood, so it won't be a problem! The Ford will be eating shit!
Ford's patented SuperCooler technology cleverly provides a special burst of power for the SVT Lightning concept. Traditional intercoolers dissipate heat from the supercharged air by circulating coolant through a front-mounted, air-cooled radiator. With the SuperCooler system, the vehicle's air conditioning system is used to chill a small storage tank of coolant to about 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
On demand, the SuperCooler system switches the intercooler flow from its normal circulation and dumps the chilled coolant into the engine's intercooler. In turn, the intercooler dissipates up to 20 percent more heat from the charge air - resulting in a denser air charge.
A green light on the instrument panel indicates the system's readiness. SuperCooler is activated automatically when the driver depresses the accelerator to a wide-open-throttle position.
"This technology plays directly into the hands of the enthusiast," Coletti says. "The SuperCooler provides the edge for the driver, and it is done simply by taking advantage of the hardware that already exists in the vehicle."
As a result of this cool technology, the SVT Lighting concept can give its driver as much as 50 transient horsepower for short bursts of 30-45 seconds and regenerate within 2 minutes under normal driving conditions. While its effect is similar to that of an aftermarket nitrous oxide system, the SuperCooler is completely self-contained, environmentally friendly and regenerative.
I can hear it now "you won because my supercooler wasn't ready."

Did you miss the fact that the SVT has a blower and will be rated at 550 h.p.?? And while you're putting on a supercharger (lots-o-money) i'll go ahead and put a afterburner on the lightning.
All im saying is the mod potential on the Lightning is greater due to the fact that its coming out of the factory with a blower, not to mention a lot cheaper to mod up. Think smaller pulley, and exhaust.
