It's harmless smack...Rohn seems like a great guy...I don't know about that J DAWG character...The only drag racing I have ever seen him do was in my car!
You are quite capable of laying the smack down Dawg... :thumb:
However, I'm not sure I'd ride that bronc for long.
Having said that, I do agree that it's always more respectable when one drives their own car, even if they can't run a number like the hired gun can. Why not do both?

Shit that had me rolling.. How is Ms. Sock btw?
Having someone driver your car is lame, unless you're doing pro racing in NHRA classes and are doing it for prize money. At the level we race at, having a "driver" is gay.
Thing is, there are multiple components to having a fast car. There is the power, and there is being able to put the time down. I've noticed the guys who brag the most generally are the ones who don't drive their own cars, and I would venture a guess that these folks are so insecure about not being top dog, that they go hire a driver to give them the best chance of succeeding so they can tell everyone about how fast their car is.
To me (and just my opinion), the guy who writes the checks to get the car built, then has someone else drive it to it's fast time, is comparable to the bat boy running onto the field in Yankee stadium after the Yanks win saying "we won! we won!". No kid, THEY won... you were just the gopher that helped make it come together.
