The IHRA held it's first National event here in February March (I can't remember which) and it got rained out too. I'd been trying for a month to get some hot mix down on their paddock roads and it never did dry enough.
OTOH, the IndyCars put on another splendid show at Fontana today. Sam Hornish won another one - this time the average speed was 207.15 mph over 400 miles!!!!! One caution, no wrecks, just kick ass racing. It was the fastest closed course race in history.
Two drivers tied for the points lead, 3 others with a mathematical chance to win the championship at the final race of the season at TMS in Ft. Worth. Beat that one, neckar.
