I mean the US Nationals rained out and delayed until the following week. Maple Grove had rain delays. Today, I go to watch the Races from Memphis and guess what, Yep, rain delayed. What did Wally do to her that got her so pissed at him. I mean you understand this in places like Tampa and Seattle, but not the Mid-West and Middle South. This sucks. Then the Rams blow a 13 point led, my day sucked and sucked.

The IHRA held it's first National event here in February March (I can't remember which) and it got rained out too. I'd been trying for a month to get some hot mix down on their paddock roads and it never did dry enough.

OTOH, the IndyCars put on another splendid show at Fontana today. Sam Hornish won another one - this time the average speed was 207.15 mph over 400 miles!!!!! One caution, no wrecks, just kick ass racing. It was the fastest closed course race in history.

Two drivers tied for the points lead, 3 others with a mathematical chance to win the championship at the final race of the season at TMS in Ft. Worth. Beat that one, neckar. [img]/images/graemlins/flipa.gif[/img]

Yes Dean that was a good race. Looks like the Ford-olet is doing Sam some good. But I want to see Helio win it all

The NHRA race is on TV tomorrow, Monday, at 6pm est. I think it is ESPN2, if not then it is ESPN the orig.
