So I just got back from the 2004 chrysler fleet introduction..

and I must say, aside from the Viper, SRT-4 and the trucks, chrysler really has fuck all going for it. The cars are cheap and plasticky and provide very little value for the $$ spent.

I really liked the SRT-4, my only complaint is that the shifter is way too tall but I still think it would be a blast to drive, I will have to try one out once they hit showrooms up here.

the only Mercedes there was an SL55AMG in the parking lot. Awesome car.

The SRT-4 is a blast to drive. It does look wierd when you open the drivers door and the stick shift looks like it's 4 feet high.

What's up with the truck with the Viper engine? Is that coming out any time soon?

I dunno it wasn't there but they have been at certain events (regional rendezvous I beleive) so they should be out soon.

Drove a SRT4 hard at the VCA rendevous and those things are tough. I was taking it to and past the redline (oops) on every shift. They should be quite a hit with the teens. You get a lot of punch for the $$

Viper......barely debatable
SRT-4......get a WRX instead
trucks.....got ugly, good engine

SRT-4 Get a WRX instead?? At 10 Grand less you can add in some serious HP and have the ultimate sleeper by comparison. 10 Grand!! That thought has gone over and over in my mind. Also on the SRT Forums they have some great looking fender clips that really make the car look sharp and not rice.
