Re: is there a place on the net that prints posters?
I do it for a living. I own Manpower Advertising in San Antonio Texas. One of the things we do is Print Replication in any size. I.E. You could send me a file over the internet and we can make it any size you would like. The quality would depend on your DPI(Our large digital printer will support up to 2900DPI, and if you wanted words added we could do that as well.
We also have the ability to do it on differant papers( and this is cool)
All forms of glossy and semi glossy stock
backlight film(This is translucent stuff that we put in light boxes it looks like a still on a T.V.)
Adhesive vinyl(Can stick to a cut to size peice of plexyglass or anything else Even curved surfaces)
and Canvas(PAinters quality) WE do very well with this as people will send us a photo of just about any size and we will make it look like an oil painting of just about any size, for about 500% or more less than a real painting.
Their are other papers(Tyvek, luster,Ect )
Oh did I mention that we do all levels of commercial photography and have a mobile photography studio
And full service printing capabilities(Digital,Offset,Large(or VERY LARGE) photo media)
Video and dvd duplication.
And full service graphics capabilities for design and layout.
Now that I got my shamless plug out of the way

The answer is No. Unless you took the photo.
It is copyrighted material and is thus against the law to reproduce without permission of the copyright holder. Allmost all places I know of are pretty much sticklers on this issue. If you took the photo(or anyone who will give you permission for that matter)yourself we can replicate all the colors, graphics, ect... to suit your tastes. If you can dream it we can reproduce it in just about any size. our large rolls are 72 inches wide and come in leangths up to 100 feet.

My dad has a few Lambdas. He has two 130s with the updated lasers I believe. The epson is pretty cool and appearantly rather archival with the right inks and paper. The effect that it can give to certain papers is very painterly and might be very intersting on Craig's poster, then again, the lambda would really bring out those blues if you use metallic paper or chrome.
