Not the most popular day of the year, yet it is a nessasary evil for those of us who have a woman in our lives. We're looking at just over two weeks, so some of us need to get the gears turning and figure out what needs to be done.
Have no doubt, even if she says she dosen't want anything-she does.
If she says she doesn't like or want flowers-she does and expects them.
If she says she dosen't want jewelry-she's a fucking liar.
So if you think your going to be able to weasel out of blowing a wad on the 14th; than plan on beating your meat to Victoria Secret catalogs for the next month. I'm hoping that a few of us will post some good ideas to limit the damage to our credit card balances, and ensure the steady flow of poon.
I'm going to see STOMP. It was actually part of her Xmas present.. tickets to the nutcracker, stomp and phantom of the opera. 400$ up front, but i'm golden most of the 2003 year now [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I took my girl to Vegas for X-mas and saw the Blue Man Group, it was worth it. I need to come up with something a little different this time around though. I normally wouldn't be that concerned about it, as I normally pull something out of my ass at the last moment. The last year has been pretty rough, and Wen has really stuck with me through all the BS. Something I definatley wouldn't expect of anyone.

I think I am going to be out of town on business......and make several "I wish I was there calls." What a PITA.
I've rented a limo and we're going to the city to a nice dinner at Aqua in SF. Followed up by a visit to the starlight room and some jazz before heading home.

Yea, and it's my birthday to boot. Talking about getting robbed. The two times your guaranteed to get laid every year-your birthday and Valentines Day-and they're both on the same day. I just can't catch a break.

Perfect, tell her for your birthday all you want is not to have to get her anything for Valentine's Day.
My wife and I dont exchange presents at anytime of the year except Christmas. Even then I am the one who buys the expensive stuff....I get socks and underwear.
We buy so much stuff throughout the year it seems silly to buy some token present expressing our love for each other when we express our feelings everyday.
