Deep Thoughts-By Motor City Mad Man: Episode 1-Actors and Gayness
Ever wonder why a larger proportion of actors are gay in relation to the general population? When I got to thinking about it I thought back to high school where some of these actors first got started. All the guys I remember in high school who were in drama class, choir, plays, and musicals were either flamers or suspect flamers. I mean what self-respecting man would dance around on stage in a musical like a little fairy? Or want to put on a wig, high heels, and a dress to play some "part"? And I would say that 99 44/100% of actors on Broadway are total flamers as well.
Oh and another thing-why are actors a lot shorter than the average male? I've often wondered about this too as I always hear how most actors are a lot shorter than you would think. And then I think back and if these guys were short back in high school they probably couldn't compete in sports so they turned to gay things like acting.
Stay tuned for more deep thoughts in future episodes.

Normally, I would agree 100%, but. It would seem that there are so many, because they are in the "Spotlight", so to speak and they all came running out of the closet, so to speak. It has become "Fashionable" to be gay.
Truly, I can remember gays in the Army, who kept a very low profile out of fear. I don't know that I can buy the short part. To think about it, successful Actors and Comedians, many times had very bad childhoods. Singers are the same way, I mean can you imagine abandoning Faith Hill. Look how F**ked up Kelsey Grammer's life has been.
There were and still are a lot of gays in sports. I guess that I would say that it is pretty equal all around, except hairdressers.
Just My Take on It.

The scales seem tilted towards hair-dresing, chef/food prep, all media incl. acting and airline stewards.
Just my take on the "hello sailor" brigade... not that I consider myself an expert on these things you understand
What about you Mad City Motor Mad Man? Are you an expert on these things?

I have the gift of GayDar. I don't harbor any bad will towards gays, they just annoy the hell out of me.

A lot of actors are much smaller than you would think. Actually, people tend to respond to people on screen that have larger features (eyes, nose, mouth) than a normal person. I would think that smaller people, many times, would have larger features in relation to the rest of their body.
Not all actors are short. Schwarzenegger was a big guy ion real life, though I expected that. Hugh Jackman suprised me how tall he was. He doesn't look that big on screen but stand next to him and you'll think otherwise.
On the think about: Why are many comedians Canadian?

And the nerve of them to talk about such things! They cram it down our throats all over TV and we dare speak about it or give our opinion!
Collins,
We seemed to see them surface in the military when they wanted to get discharged. Of course when asked to prove it, they didn't have the stomache for it....no pun intended. They weren't suckers and swallowers I guess

They just happen to be in the spotlight.
Many people are gay and are in the "closet". Hell look at Joker, Toby and Remster. Three very gay men. But they don't get the coverage that the actors get so people don't know.

Then there is Red5 who is very gay and even goes as far as looking liking it by driving a Vette. Red5 has burst out onto the scene!

so liberal equates gay? I see!
If you can't get your facts straight, you're the one who's gay.

Remster,
Where do you get liberal from my sentence?
