True soul searching, Wife style :)

Ok, so we all know the market really blows right now for cars. So, i'm telling Jenn (for anyone who doesn't know, thats my wife) how we're going to end up keeping the RT. She says "well hell yeah we are, I love that car!" Well, it made me happy [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Then she said "Besides... it's mine anway". I'm like whaaaa? She goes "Yup, because your going to buy more toys for you, so this one is mine when you do". Fair enough I guess LOL!!

After talking about what we really enjoy about the cars, and what else I want (Diablo and Ferrari). And then..she put it in very simple terms for me:

"Ok, so you can either have 2 exotics that you will rarely drive, you can probably barely fit in and that cost 10K if something breaks....
OR
You can go buy 2 vipers for yourself and supercharge/turbocharge one of them, and still have my (hers!?) RT to drive as well. AND! You still got a big chunk of change to whatever with. You know which one I would choose..."

Or you could trade the wife in and buy 4 Vipers, take the change and blow it on liquor and hookers in Vegas. Am I the only single guy out there that will speak his mind?

Oh I don't have to ask, but I value her input. She has a way of seeing things I tend to miss, and vice versa. She has been supportive of my car hobby since day one. She took me to my first few races, and she has posters of cars all around her office. She tells me all the men in her building look at her funny and are amazed when she starts talking cars with them (she prob knows more than most of them LOL). She still wants a 56 T-bird, and I hope to get her a finished one some day.
