RSI broken promises!!!

Mark I am sorry to hear that - hopefully someone from RSI will post here and work this out.

I've been involved in raffles before and there are VERY VERY VERY strict rules about raffles, because so often they are scams.

I would say RSI has zero ground to stand on in this case. You CANNOT do anything other than abide by the "small print" and if there was non, standard laws apply. They can't add conditions in order to let you have the prize.

I can't believe this. Why the hell would that thread by yanked!?!? The morgue has really changed over the last 3-4 months from what I can see. Since I have been hanging out here with you bastards, I barely go over there...unless to rubberneck [img]/images/graemlins/laughing.gif[/img]

If moderators feel it appropriate to yank threads like the RSI one; perhaps moderating posts are not there biggest problem...

What happened with that thread? The RSI guys made comments about matt's girlfriend? That is totally unacceptable in so many ways.

Matt, just sue them - take 'em to small claims court and let the judge decide. Personally, I think you got an open and shut case. All it costs is about $20 to file and a few hours of your time.

I would speculate something to that effect. RSI does their thing so I don't think they wanted to be kept on the board for the roast for too long. God forbid we let people actually post their feelings and experiences on the board. Define "General Discussions"...define "hypocracy"...

Well the VIA to Montreal is pretty cheap, hell I could probably fly from toronto to montreal even cheaper nowadays on Tango or something. I will have ton investigate that further once we have a date finalized [img]/images/graemlins/supergrin.gif[/img] I would most likely be in. Getting a fake ID isn't a problem it's that I don't wanna screw around with the border, getting busted with 2 seperate ID's could be trouble. I'm going to the states with my dad the first weekend in Oct so I'll know how it is.
