Odd Behavior of People Around High End Sports Cars

Last weekend I stopped by the local mall to grab some dinner at the food court. While I'm parking I see a yellow Ferrari 575 Maranello parked about 2 rows over from me. There is a young guy with his girlfriend in a Jeep CJ-7 that drive up next to the Ferrari to check it out. The guy parks his Jeep directly across from the Ferrari and starts revving his engine and burning rubber, lurching back and forth etc. The Ferrari owner isn't anywhere around. One of the funniest things I have ever seen. Maybe seeing the Ferrari got to the dudes animal instincts. I dunno.

On another note, I am out cruising in the Viper today and hit a little WOT on the highway. This guy in a beat up old Saturn or something tries to keep up with me and then when we hit a stoplight we chat for a little bit. He asks about the car and then leaves me with, damn that's a lot of people's dream car. And I think, yeah he's right-I guess I am pretty fortunate.

I get reved at all the time. It is rather funny.Everywere I go in the viper somebody in a shit box or ford f-250 revs at me. I have parked my car got out and had people rev and "lurch hop" at ME walking away from my car! Last night on the way home after the Austin gathering I was on 5th street at a light and a guy yells at me "get a job" I usualy have a comeback for this sort of shit but I was dumbfounded. I am out on the town on a saturday night in a viper and I need a job????

I dunno. Today I had a jack in a newer Mustang tailgate me for a few blocks. When I turned he nearly rear ended me as he had to fly by me at a high rate of speed. He must have thought it would impress me. It is those times that I really have a hard time controling myself. I really wanted to pull back onto the road and waste his little piece of crap. It is still getting under my skin a couple of hours later. Testosterone is a hard thing to live with.

EDIT

One question...Why is it seem to be always dudes in Mustangs that do this kind of crap? Anyone?

It's not just sports cars. I had two morons tailgating me today on the way home from work. One was a Buick, the other a Ford exscusion.(?) They both kept speeding and slowing up. I was driving my ranger PU. nothing special looking, Looks like a work truck, except of the red light bar, and dive flags on each side.

After ten minutes of this, I said f*** this and called the cops. Gave both LP numbers and descriptions of cars. Described following to them

Failure to yield to on coming traffic
Failure to keep right,
Reckless endangerment,
Failure to use directional
Speeding,
Tailgating,
Interference with fire official,
Open container,

from what I here one of the locals grabbed them, impounded cars. Sucks to be them.

Smackie and I did a mild cannonball to Ausin the other night. 80-90ish MPH. A fuckstick in a rather neglected Neon gets on my ass. To make it all the worse he had the "special nightime arial gunnery range" alighnment on his driver side head light. I let him pass as I could not take the efects of his cockeyed POS. So now our friend is behind Smackie. I think this twerp was trying to race smackie. A neon of dubious origin(looked as If it could have been a Chinese knockoff) Is like buzzing flies to an M3 and viper at 90 MPH. I Really would not have cared so much if he had better alighnment on the lights, did a rev or whatever then went on his merry way. but to ride my ass and goad me for several miles FUCK OFF.

Ahhh.....I feel better now.

I have seen people do some pretty wierd, absolutely unbelievable things around my cars. Usually their actions just leave me shaking my head in disbelief, and amazment as to what I just saw
Too bad the Ferrari owner wasn't around to witness that one

Re: Odd Behavior of People Around High End Sports Cars

I have a good one...

Last weekend I was cruising home in the GTS...being a good boy (at the time) doing the speed limit when a riced out RX7 came up behind me fairly fast and was pacing me, revving up his fart cans and wanting me to race...His passenger yelling out the window that my overpriced sports car was slow etc etc....I didn't respond as I knew that about mile up the road was a favorite speed trap for the Ohio State Patrol...so I minded my own business. He decided to show how much of a man he was a punched it....he was going pretty fast as I lost him over the next hill.

As soon as I got to the speed trap area...what do I see...a State Patrol officer with his lights on pulling over this dork... I slowed just a bit... passed the guy as he was pulling over...made eyes contact and waved..then went on my way.

It was quite funny...all because this guy couldn't keep his testosterone in check.

Oh, Jesus Christ, I forgot about that homo. The Gershon's and I were clipping along pretty niiiiice up I-35 and Tokyo Joe comes out of nowhere in this clapped out Neon. I think he realized it was a little different crowd than usual when he tried to cut me off and I threw a fender underneath him at about 90mph. He stayed a couple lanes away from me after that one.

WAR NOT GETTING ANY TICKETS!!!
