Suzuki makes the Z400 but KFX400 which is the exact same model.

And Artic Cat just rebadged the same Z400 chassis and called it their own model too....

All depends on what your weight is, riding skills are, terrain, and what you're looking for in performance, but I'm not too impressed with the Z400s out in the Oregon Dunes, but I have no personal seat time either so thats just my opinion.

The new yamaha YFZ450 is an awesome quad, but big bucks at $6899, and Honda is soon to announce their 450 race quad on September 11th.

For me, I'm really enjoying my Thumper Polaris Predator 500cc as it fits me at 6' 235#'s. Its a great fast 70 mph logging road ride here in Seattle Woods, and my dune machine of choice is my built 60 h.p. 404cc Banshee.......hard to beat a 2 stroke in the sand.

Let us know how you like the Z400. It was just too small a seat for me....

I went with the KFX400. Picked it up this past Saturday. Only mods so far is I installed a jet kit, K&N's and a Yoshimura titanium full system pipe. This bike stock was 53hp out of the crate. Not to bad considering the Raptor 660 is only 52hp from the factory. I'm only 5ft. 9" and weigh in a 160 so the 400 fits me fine. I'm loving it so far. Also got the wife a new KX100 dirt bike. I'll post some pictures soon.
