Yeah, if I remember correctly, for the first LOTR was released three times. First as a basic DVD with a few extras on another disk. Then in November it was released as Peter Jackson's cut (which is way better) and two more DVDs of extras. Finially it was released with the extras from both versions of the DVD release and some silly LOTR bookends were included.
