I'm Looking For a Legitimate Wholesale Source For Small Electronics

I'm trying to find a legitimate source for buying small electronics wholesale. It seems like everything I find either seems like a ripoff or it's some company in Hong Kong that most likely sells counterfeit goods. I want to buy cell phones, cameras, etc to resell. Maybe Ipods too, but from the searches I've done it seems no one can figure out how to buy Ipods wholesale. Can anyone offer me any advice?

I heard you can get some stuff at Circuit City.

When I was going to offer some electronics in my store, I called manufacturers direct, and from what I remember, they direct you to a distributor in your area. Usually, that distributor will carry many other brands as well. I did not go too far with it, so I am sure there is more to it than that.

I have been using DBL Distributing for a lot of years. They are in Scottsdale AZ. They sell ipods just not very big discounts and you have to bye 100k a year to buy ipods. They dont sell cell phones but they have cell phone accessories. Hope this helps Good Luck

Maybe I can help. I've been cultivating resources in China for some time (and spend a lot of time there). There are websites where you can find hundreds of wholesalers and a lot of them are pre-qualified (meaning they have to pass a bunch of hurdles to be considered preferred vendors).

When things were really rolling in China, minimum order quantities went to 1000's of units. With the economy sliding, that's gone way down which is really helpful for small importers. There's always a silver lining in every cloud.

Yeah I agree DBL is pretty good starting point. They do have a ton of small electronics and they don't have a minimum order accept for Apple stuff I suppose. You have to specifically request permission to buy the Apple Ipods which I have never done cause I know Apple does require a minimum amount to sell.
