IMHO they are way over priced. I was just at the Jaguar/Aston martin dealer getting the oil changed on the Jaguar and they have six Astons on the show room one of the DB7's is 255,000 it is a nice car but for that kind of money it should have WOW power insted of thats cool power.

There's something to be said for British coachwork- they just have soul.

I always liked the older mid 70's V-8 series. Elegant and powerful enough for their time. Plus they made/imported very few so you could have another rare car to go with the Viper.

The price for the V8 runs about $80K nice looking vehicle but i can imagine when it is in for service it's in for a month.

But thats the same kind of thing Mustang owners say to us. Owning an exotic like that isnt about smart economics. $255K for a DB7? That seems about right for a Vanquish. If its a vanquish its a gorgeous piece of automotive art. If I had the jack, it would definitely be on the list for something I would add to my stable. A DB7 should be going in the 100's and a gorgeous rare car just the same.

I was thinking more along the lines of the early/mid 90's Virage/Vantage. Always liked the design.

Something about a 2 ton sedan that will do 0-100 in 10 seconds, and 60 in 3.9 that is A-OK in my book.

I agree, it's just should look more exotic or something, If im flashing 255k cash i want a 255k flashy car. It is a nice car just wouldn't buy one over a lambo or ferrari.

the Vanquish makes ferraris (except for the Enzo) look boring. it gets more looks than any ferrari and lambo put together and the motherfucker just exudes class and sophistication like no other car in the world!

I don't know. They look exotic, but a Ferrari is almost universally recognizable, especially in red. I really think to a non car person, a Lamborghini or Ferrari is more obviously exotic. To a car person, the Vanquish carries a special distinction that I just don't think the general public sees.

have you ever seen a Vanquish out on the road? I saw one at my hotel last time i was in LA and not a damn person walked by that thing without just absolutely gawking! it was hilarious...it also made me realize how careful im gonna have to be about driving it about time.
