I fly Continental regularly out of Cleveland. Their service is excellent but those little Embraer Jets are tiny. Its OK for a quick jaunt to Chicago or someplace regional within an hour, but they fly those little bastards all the way to DFW, over a 2 hour flight! Fuck that.

My big gripe is the lack of consistency from airport to airport when it comes to security. The rules are getting less strict though. Why? Cost and complacency are both on the rise

racial profiling is one of the best things ever invented, too bad its not used in almost every damn aspect of civilization. bottom line is; it works and thats what pisses people off especially the guilty ones. its only profiling for christs sake its not persecution. im with the above statement though; whatever it takes to be safe when im in a big ass metal tube 30K feet up; do it.

The hassling I can expect is unrelated to ensuring anyone's safety, as far as I can tell. I can understand scrutinizing one-way-ticket holders, but preventing me from carrying a relatively small amount of crap aboard because it's a little weird?
