Why not just get the color you want?

Might help to say the color you want... Might also help to say what substances you want to mix...

The primary colors.....I'm not 100%, but I think they are red, white, yellow and blue.

Depends on whether you are mixing paint or mixing light. I assume paint?

Serioulsy. Let's say when using paint. What colors mixed together makes another color? I know Yellow & Blue makes Green...correct? How would I make Orange for example?

Orange is red and yellow.

In paints it is Primary - Blue, Red and Yellow / Secondaries - Purple, Green, Orange

In printing it's Cyan, Magenta and Yellow

For TV, it's Red Green and Blue.

Paints use the following:
Primary+primary = secondary
(Primary+Primary)/secondary+tint (+/-) = Color

Here's how you mix paint.

You go to home depot, and you go to the guy in the paint section, and you say "I want orange paint". Or, better yet you pick out a swatch from the book and say "make me this, bitch!" and he hops to it.

What color you want makes the difference on what you mix,,, so what color do you want?

yellow and red make orange if you want a darker orange add more red. When mixing the colors mix the darker color into the lighter color. the darker you want the color mix in more of the darker of the two colors until you get the color you want.
