Old header or new?

So, as you can see, I've been fiddling with the header (again). Thought I would try something new. What do you think - old one or this one?

Wish I could think of a design that flowed more with the page....

the design is cool but the color isnt, .org has a red car with stripes. should do a blue and white, will match the pages better then too....

Could the background be a slightly different shade of black? The edges of the letters where the tires are get blended to the background.

I'll modify the "red" theme to use the red car in a similiar way this one is done. Going back and redoing the themes takes a little time (especially is I customize a header for a specific theme).
