It's possible on someone that fat that is probably holding 10lbs of fluid in and of it itself. Did they lose 35lb of fat, no. An average 200lb person can fluctuate 5-8lbs in a given day depending on how they hold fluid. It wouldn't surprise me if you loaded a fat person up and then weighed them, you could skew the scales by as much as 15lbs from their actual weight. Throw in that curve, with new dieting, weighing first thing in the AM and the lack of water, boom, you get 35lbs.
Totally possible, but likely a smoke/mirror situation. Ever seen someone go into the hospital for just 2-3 days and lose 15-17lbs?
