35 in a week? Easy on a 600 pound person. 200 pound person not so easy, unhealthy, but doable.

I watched a show/documentary on how they get the contestants to lose weight... pretty unhealthy "at all costs" methods since larger weight loss = more interest and better ratings. Think of dropping weight for wrestling + some other nasty shit. Of course they dont show what the contestants do to lose the weight, except the socially acceptable stuff like workout sessions with trainer, "eating right" etc...

It's possible on someone that fat that is probably holding 10lbs of fluid in and of it itself. Did they lose 35lb of fat, no. An average 200lb person can fluctuate 5-8lbs in a given day depending on how they hold fluid. It wouldn't surprise me if you loaded a fat person up and then weighed them, you could skew the scales by as much as 15lbs from their actual weight. Throw in that curve, with new dieting, weighing first thing in the AM and the lack of water, boom, you get 35lbs.

Totally possible, but likely a smoke/mirror situation. Ever seen someone go into the hospital for just 2-3 days and lose 15-17lbs?
