Anyone else watch the IRL race today?

Sam Hornish is BACK! He lapped the field up through 3rd place at Kentucky from the pole position. If not for the caution, he might have lapped the entire field. The guy looks like the next Rocket Rick Mears. [img]/images/graemlins/gr_driving3.gif[/img]

Oh, and another interesting factoid from the race - it was a 300-miler that ran with only one caution flag for 10 laps. The winner's average race speed (NOT the "green flag average") was over 197 mph!!! [img]/images/graemlins/freak3.gif[/img] The fastest closed course race in history.

Looks like the Honda and Toyota boys will be crying the blues now that the Fordrolet kicked their asses.

What a joke that is, putting Chevy on the valvecovers of a Ford/Cosworth.

I just may have to go to Nazareth the next weekend. And to think I just gave up my season tickets. :doh: Oh well, the radio stations are giving tons away for free seeing how no one is buying any. The speedway even called me to see why I was not going.

Was gonna make a couple runs but it was packed and people kept crashing. I couldn't take the humidity anymore. I should've stayed home in the A/C and watched NASCAR and IRL and ALMS.
