This has been the WORST 24hrs EVER. We just got power after more than 24 hrs of a black out. It feels sooo good to finally turn on the AC and cool off. NYC still has rolling blackouts. My town was the last town in Westchester County to get power. Now just need to resupply the fridge with more beer....
Wow, that would be misery! My power went off for about 10 minutes this morning. I thought you yankee bastards stole our power, but it came back on and all was well.
well we got the correct time for the black out, 23hrs 56min. from what i hear after 24hrs ConEd has to pay for any damages.They gave themselves just enough time, bastards.
Trey, we had the Grill going outside, everything in the frig/freezer was cooked. I cant even imagine the amount of money the business around me lost. Most if not all the stores in my area had no cold food, everything had to be thrown out. All i know is i am eating dry food for a while, im sure some of these places did not discard the defrosted meats and such.
