Now that the prices of virtually everything are going up and up and now that thousands of people are losing their jobs everyday as the US goverment still hands out 10,000+ checks to those people just getting off the boat, I think I will take a boat ride and get in line, I sure could use the money to pay for the gas in my Viper and GTO!

I don't vote. I've wanted to since I was able to, but no one running has piqued my interest, and I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils.
That being said, if a gun was at my head and I was marched to the polls, I would pull Obama's handle before McCain's, simply on how eight years of Republicans have destroyed my livelihood somehow. How I don't know, but my income peaked in '01 and had been on the downhill with the fucking brakes locked ever since.
Besides, if Obama gets in office, he may be be the best thing ever, or he may be the catalyst neded to give our government an enema. Either way, that's better than prolonging the current 8 year stagnation followed by the giant shit our economy just took with McCain.
Either way you vote, we're in for a hell of a time. How are you voting again, and why?

Anyone that wants to VOTE for Hussein Bin Laden.... I mean Obama the liar, needs to move out of the country or NOT vote at all. This country is getting worse so we need to get rid of the trash which this is a good way to figure who's "unfit" to live in this country. I can't stand Bin Obama and believe that if he gets into office, this country's going to get alot worse.

I'll say it once more. Considering the circumstances, life under Bush has been GREAT. The media has told me ever day, every hour, every minute since he has been in office that he is a bad president. Every TV show, every celebrity, nearly every public figure, has been preaching to me that Bush is bad. If you understand economics at all then you should understand that things are cyclical. The real impact a President has on the economy is negligible. Congress has more control. While there was a Republican Congress for 6 years, if you look at key issues it is the Democrats that prevented certain measures for being passed.
Did Bush try to introduce regulation to control subprime lending in 2003? YES. Did Congress claim this whole mess was Republicans fault? YES. Is the reason subprime lending took off in the first place due to democratic pressures on the Fed? YES. Do/did Republicans as a whole strongly oppose subprime lending to non-credit worthy people? YES. Was the majority of COngress Republican when Bush's regulations were shot down? YES. Were the majority of the votes that prevented this measure from Democrats? YES
In a nutshell. Look at the timeline. Our economy when in the toilet after democrats got control of COngress. Bush was handed a shit economy and for 6 years things were booming despite every effort of the media to create a perception of a weak economy. I wouldn't be surprised if September 11th was planned to coincide witha Republican going in to office. The middle east doesn't want a Republican in office. They want a Democrat. That alone should tell you something. Hopefully some on the fence guests are seeing this thread (and others). WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Great Post BGCK!!!! I'm going to take these posts and post them to other threads on different forums with people who support Bin Obama and democrats. Democrats try everything they can do "political wise" to get in office. They will lie and cheat to get their way in because that's "Politics" in their eyes. I don't care, I'm not a republican nor a democrat, I'm more for common sense... and this is pretty plain and dry to see what's going on.
