Great. Dodge can change their slogan from Dodge Different to Dodge Bland. From a Chrysler/Dodge consumer's view there is nothing in this for Dodge. GM will ruin the brand just as they did with Pontiac and everything else they touch.
Better yet, how about the new Viper SS or Viper RS. If they do merge, I think that the very will be history because of the Corvette. I can't see them building both cars and from a cost standpoint, a Corvette would be more feasible.
Toyota should buy GM at current stock prices and just shut it down. That much less competition.
I see GM as far less capable of weathering a shakeout than Ford or Chrysler. Way too much overhead, way to many brands. How many Chevy/GM SUV's and crossover SUV's (none of which are selling) do they make now. So many I have lost count. It seems like a new one just like the old ones every three months.

What's ironic is that after making 35 years of crap, GM has begun to make some excellent vehicles these last few years. Shame they didn't start earlier.
