Thank God he's okay and on the mend. I thought this was another fatality post that I wouldn't want to open. Glad to see that the car held up so well, even if the car didn't like the hood.
I think it's the same people who have murals and animals painted on their Vipers are the same ones who make the hasty drunken decision to get a tattoo after a night of drinking. In both cases they wake up the next morning wondering what happened and start to contemplate how to get rid of the permanent reminder.
I live near here and drive 121 all the time. Nice road but was resurfaced badly within the last three weeks. They did not put the finish coat on but laid down a rough binder coat, that left stones over whole road, till traffic started on it.
Quite a bit of tar marbles on the corners, with sand. Last few days have been cool.
In Atkinson, part of 121 runs down a valley, meaning cooler road temps, and dew on the roads as well
