Concert ticket prices -The Who, Rush, Queen, Aerosmith $10-15!!!

After the other recent post of Eagles tickets at almost $200 a pop, I thought I'd share some of my oldies but goodies......$10-15 each.....

The Who, Rush, Queen, Aerosmith, Heart, Devo, B-52's, David Bowie, Van Halen numerous times, Sammy Hager, the Kinks, INXS........all only $10-15 a ticket in early 1980's.....same price for a concert t-shirt too......

anyone got other oldies but goodies to share?

Screw paying $200 a ticket, and another $100-$200 for dinner and parking, so $500-600 for a concert? I'll buy the Blu-ray DVD and see it over and over...

Live entertainment, both sports and concerts, is one of the few things that has greatly outpaced the general rate of inflation.

Led Zep Feb-1975 great concert. Jimmy Page broke his finger falling down at the airport. Turns out drugs and snow don't mix well. BUT.

The show must go on and it was an incredible performance considering Pages difficulties.

Ron when did you see the Zep?

I saw Rush on their very first US concert tour. It was at a honky-tonk in San Antonio called Randy's Rodeo in 1975. Best as I recall, the tickets were only $6.50. I paid 10x that much to see Pink Floyd on the Division Bell tour. It was without doubt, the best concert I've ever seen - and I've seen a LOT of rock concerts.
