I also would hate to be raising a teenage daughter these days. I know it may be a double standard and all but if girls back in my day did what girls do today they'd all be labeled sluts. I mean kids can easily find sexually explicit pics on the net whereas I'd be lucky just to find where my Dad hid a Playboy or two and sneak a quick peak when I was young.

Well, I'm 35, so I was a teenager during the AIDS scare years when it kind of put a damper on things. Not that AIDS isn't around anymore, but teens don't think they will catch any disease these days. In the 60's and early 70's sex was rampant and now it seems in the last 5-10 years it is rampant again. I always am either too early or too late.

Very good article. All of it is mostly true about us and hook-ups. Thats all we do....go to parties, get fucked up and hook up with random girls. Sometimes it gets old (how can it get old you say?) well, because we do it ALL the time. When semester kicks back up here in late August parties will be everywhere and it will get old quicker and quicker. Sometimes I like a change every once in a while...maybe a movie or a game of putt-putt. Having said that, there is a party tonight I am going to with 3 kegs....woo hoo :thumb:

Seriously, from what I've read and heard (my first wife was an 11th grade school teacher, and it was constantly a topic of conversation), it varies dramatically from one school to another -- even within a single region. She worked in a bunch of schools both good and bad, and to be honest it seemed to be more of a problem in the good schools. But then, maybe in the bad schools it just paled in comparison to the metal detectors and gunfights.

That is sad that you think that all girls are whores, and even sadder if teens are totally being loose. I mean there are so many STD's other than the big One, and they will end of catching one sooner or later. I really think parents need to teach their kids to wait a little and not sleep with everyone. I remember being scared to have sex when I was a teen, I thought about the what if's all the time. I was scared of what my parent's reaction would be if they found out or if I had gotten pregnant.

Maybe it depends on where you grow up. I grew up in the Midwest in the middle of no where. Hell, we only got 1 TV channel growing up and that was CBS. No cable reached out in the boonies and sat TV was not too big back then either. I was sheltered.
