McCain, Obama tied in TV audiences

With that many people in the past week tuning in to just the conventions - curious if voter turnout will be higher than normal...

A high voter turnout will probably benefit Obama. A high turnout of young people will probably do the same. Sorry, Glen.

I didn't say anything was going to happen - I simply brought it up that if so many people watched these debate - if more than 50% of voters would actually vote...

And it was also interesting that 75+ of Iraqis voted...

I am not so sure that increased voter turnout is from the young - I think a lot more women are involved this year, etc...

I doubt that there will be a lot larger turn out for the Dems, Republicans = yes. The problem with Obama's campaign is that they are trying to get the people that don't vote to actually vote. P-Diddy tried it 4 years ago (maybe it was 8 years ago) and failed miserably. Those people are too lazy to get off their butts to work for their money so why are they going to get off their butts to vote. And we all know college kids don't have the attention span to last till Nov. Maybe history will change this year but I doubt it.
