I think thats what their called. I didn't even know I bought them, went out and got some tall lamps (like 6ft) in black for around the house. I saw these and grabbed them as they looked great in black. Start putting them together, and then start wondering how the hell you turn them on or adjust the light, theres no switch or anything. I already threw out the instructions so I'm sure it was in there, called the place but couldn't reach anyone as was going to tell them all my lights came without switches lol. So I plug one in and it turns on, all you do is touch or even lightly tap the pole and it turns on and adjust brightness each time or turns off.
Pretty cool, had some people over and they all kept playing with the lights
I rigged up a chain to my ceiling fan where all I have to do is pull on it to change the speeds. I'm thinking of inviting some people over and make a party out of it.
I was thinking the same thing. Some people are young enough to see this stuff come back around and think it's new. I am sure you have seen this happen many times over the many decades.
I have them on all my cars. I just touch the headlights before I get in the car and they light up. The only thing that sucks is they go off and on while driving due to bugs hitting them

Funny you mention things coming back around. My 12 year old daughter bought a pair of jeans that had rips in the legs. She couldn't wait to show me.
I started laughing and she said that is what is in style. I pulled up a bon jovi video from the 80's and she was dazzled. She couldn't believe her generation did not invent this wonderful "style".
Well already disconnected 2 of them, things are "sensitive", turn the tv/stereo up in living room and fucking lights start going low-med-high-off over and over

The one thing I don't get with that are the jeans that cost 2-300 bucks and already come torn, wtf....

and faded and has the look of being worn 1000 times
I have a lamp that you can actually turn on from across the room, with a switch on the wall no less, without even touching it.
wow pretty cool idea. I actually have most of my lights on a remote so I can control them all from one of several remotes I have around my place. It sounds silly but is pretty awesome.
