Yeah, his stories were cool and uplifting for sure. And he has my vote for sure, but damn.
Can you imagine what it would be like listening to him in the oval office for hours on end in a meeting. I would be sticking a fuckin pencil in my eyeball to dull the pain.
Agree - Kelly got invited to the convention - and I sent a text to her, "throw a beer bottle at him'...
She thought it was very different there - than tv... (but of course very funny - he he)
Anyways, Titan will be shoving a fork in my eye socket before I vote for a party who is invested in defeat with any country, raises taxes on all, and thinks social programs just need more money...
I would rather sleep through any McCain speech than attempt to live thought one minute of Obama drilling into to my wallet...
With a 96 year old Mom that was able to spring to her feet and waive vigorously to the crowd I would say McCain has a few good years left in him. The old lady was impressive for sure. She even spoke with energy I wouldn't expect to see in such an elderly person.

Yeah, she still has some kick in her. I noticed her off to the side making the motions of clapping but not connecting her hands. I guess at 96 you have to becareful with shit like that

Was that Common in the pink dress that they had to haul out during McCain's speech?
I agree that he lacks in flare. But his words reach deep enough for me to overlook that. It's obvious that he wants to help this country more than he already has.
I have a hard time watching the other guy speak. His head tilted sideways, always looking down....etc.
Shady Cat.
I think it's hard for anyone to come off great in a speech like that, unless you are Ronald Reagan. After every sentence the crowd erupts into applause, and it just breaks up the speech, so there is no rhythm to it.
At least, the guy can walk the walk. He sacrificed a helluva lot for his country.

Funny - Kelly sent me a text when that was happening - said that Pink lady caused quite a ruckus...
Wonder what Obama is thinking today as Palin had just about as many viewers as he did during his half time show...
Maybe he should punt Biden - and get Hillary on the ticket... I bet that is an option that has been discussed (much like if we can find a running mate for Palin )

Very true, he had my undivided attention while listening.
But imagine if he would have been an excellent public speaker. I think all the democrats would jump ship and vote for him also. He is the poster boy for a true american. If he had the electricity to go with it, he would be unstopable.
