With a open trailer I'm sure you'd be fine. Doesn't TRD make an S/C for that 4.7?

ALWAYS remember, its not just what the "rated" towing poundage is.........I shake my head at people towing a monsterous trailer with a weenie mid sized toyota truck, Ford Explorer, or Chevy S10.......

While the duallyies ARE more stable for all out towing, egads they're wide and a pain to park....with proper suspension (air bags and Rancho 9 way click adjust dampning shocks) all but the biggest trailers can still be towed with a standard 3/4 or 1 ton truck.

Around 11,000 pounds right here........about 6400 for the truck, and 4800 parked ON back of it......thats tires and suspension all supersized to carry that much load

PLUS I'll tow about 4,000 pounds of trailer behind it too......

My 4x4 Viper.......love the V10 motor....the camper makes it look small, but its a dang big truck!

That's nothing but a $500 extended warranty that they add into the price. It's not even transferable.
